Well here is our trip to the San Juan Islands!
We had a long day on airplanes but Dallas got to sleep across three seats and got to be carried everywhere because he was tired, Oh our little prince!

Here is the
Safeco Field and the Space Needle!

We ate at a restaurant called
Ivers in Seattle that is right by the docks. It is the place to go for fish and chips, it's delicious. There are tons of seagulls around and they eat right out of your hand. Dallas had a lot of fun with that.

The Space Needle!

Waiting to get on the fairy, it had been a long day. Dallas was pretty tired and still wanted a lot of cuddle time.

But right before we had to get back in the car to drive us on the fairly boat Dallas had to make one quick call to the Black Power Ranger!

Here we are on the boat on our way to
Orcas Island.

We all got ice cream, yum yum!

So here is Dallas telling us that this is the "cool boat". For the rest of the trip Dallas would ask us when we were going on the "cool boat." You know its not every day a kid gets to drive a car on a boat and then can go buy ice cream on it too.

Having lots of fun with Daddy!

And Dallas got to drive too! Daddy and Dallas had a lot of fun with that.

The happy family, it was a fun adventure.

Once we got to our place we got to go fishing. This is one of the first fish we caught, a sea bass.
Another sea bass!

Here is Dallas catching his first fish on the trip.

Another sea bass, just a little guy.
Here Dallas goes again!

And its a
greenling, this was Dallas favorite fish, Mommy and Daddy's too. It was a really pretty fish, easy to clean, and really good eating.

Here is Mommy's
greenling.

The ride just puts Dallas to sleep.

Here is the catch of the first day. 4 Bass, and 4
Greenling.
Here is a baby Ling Cod, but you can't keep these fish it wasn't in the season. We caught few really good size ones but had to let them go.

There were Bald Eagle around all the time. One time Ryan and his cousin went out on the boat to go fishing his cousin caught a small fish then threw it out for the eagle. The eagle came down a caught it and flew off, maybe 10- 20 feet away from them. Ryan wished he had the camera.

Here is a sea lion. They were always sunbathing on the rocks. But this one went for a swim.

Here are more sea lions sunbathing

Daddy, Grandpa
Cassels and Uncle Mitch heading out with the rest of the boys to lay out the crab pots.

There they go...... good luck boys!

While Dallas and Mommy head to the hot tub for some fun swimming.

This was the biggest Star fish I have every seen!!! It was in one of the crab pots when we pulled it up.

Our crab quota was full everyday and had to throw back some too. We had a lot of crab to eat and it was
sooooooo good!

Ryan, Mitch and their cousin Nick.

Every pot came up full of crab, it was a lot of fun.

This is all the crab we got in one trip, and we would go out twice a day! WOW!

Daddy got done crabing and came to get us out of the hot tub. Dallas got his way and got carried all the way back to the house.

Site seeing around the Island and on our way to the summit of Mt. Constitution.

At the top how beautiful! And Dallas is so Cute!

My two boys! The are best buds and so adorable!

They have a tower at the top of the mountain so you can get even higher.

The deer around there didn't care about humans at all, I guess there is no hunting on the island.

Dallas in his frog hat and with his net that he found at one of the stores, we would go down to the beach and catch hermit crabs and baby crabs under rocks and in the sand. We would find sea shells too. Dallas had a lot of fun with that but I think Mommy had more fun!!

One of the big crab we caught getting ready to cook it yum yum!

"Look Mom he ate it right out of my hand"

The chefs at work!
Daddy's in charge of the beef or pork.

Grandpa Cassel his sister Aunt Sue are in charge of the fish and crab! What a feast.
Everone had plenty to eat, time for a nap!
Oh what a fun summer vacation!
